Quality/environment/ethics:
In a good co-operation between the supplier and the customer many factors are involved. Besides of course conditions such as good service, delivery on time, real supplemen-ting possibilities, relevant product price etc., the following topics should be an important part of the co-operation and decisive for our customers’ subsequent selection of the right garments.
QUALITY
With Nybo Jensen Konfektion A/S we work with experienced sub-suppliers of raw material for industrial washable products, and all specifications of fabrics and accessories are determined and controlled according to international standards including ISO 15797 guidelines for test of products for industrial laundering. The co-operation includes supervision of dyeing methods, and a continuous follow-up takes place regarding the fulfilment of the agreed demands and arrangements.

Modern and relevant quality control (ISO 15797) As a result of an increasing number of fabric types and garment produced in “low-wage countries”, it’s becoming still more important to make sure that the fabrics and the finished product live up to the expectations of the customers. Nybo Jensen Konfektion A/S continually performs a range of tests to ensure that the products are fit for industrial laundries according to ISO 15797. The tests are carried through in close co-operation with external specialists, before the fabric and other accessories are accepted in our production. |
ENVIRONMENT
Nybo Jensen Konfektion A/S works according to the CSR-principles – Corporate Social Responsibility and Code of Conduct guidelines concerning environmental conditions in the production and consideration of public demands and standards regarding e.g. substances hazardous to health, working conditions etc. We use OEKO-TEX 100 certified fabrics, and certain products are furthermore provided with the European “EU-flower”.
ETHICS
Beyond the above Nybo Jensen Konfektion A/S co-operate with sub-suppliers on other areas as e.g. social conditions in the place of production, and significant contributions are given to attain better conditions for both human beings and the environment. Regular visits in the places of production guarantee observance of the agreed conditions.
In this way we take the responsibility towards both environment and people at our own production units and at the sub-suppliers and aim at complying with our customers’ realistic demands and expectations.
| We are thinking about the environment... Since 1980 Nybo Jensen Konfektion A/S has been self-sufficient on electricity. The windmill that is placed by the company produces 65.000 kW a year – that makes about 1.8 million kW over the years. Originally the mill produced electricity for the run of the cutting und stitching department. Today the electricity is still used for the own consumption and the rest is sold at the power station. |
